New Year Newsletter
We have flipped over another page and into another calendar. I think we are all anticipating great things in 2021 and if I know some of you well enough, I think we are all planning out sewing and quilting projects for this new year. Over the next few weeks I will be sending out information on some new and exciting clubs, quilt-a-longs, new fabric, and new pattern releases as I finalize details.
In 2020 I launched my business that was a hobby longarm quilting side gig into not only a bustling quilting service but also a new online quilt shop. The first line of fabric I brought in was Stag and Thistle by Natural Born Quilter (NBQ) last summer. We offered many kits for quilts and bag projects and fabric bundles and it was a huge success. This year NBQ launched his second line called "Prairie Meadow" again with Northcott Fabrics. I was asked again to make a project with the fabric as part of the launch for the new line, coming in September 2021. This time I designed my very own original pattern and I will be sewing up my sample over the next few months. Stay tuned on Instagram. I am just finalizing fabric requirements for this quilt to determine final pricing. Pre orders for this quilt kit and fabric bundles have already started and several pre orders are already in.

If you have been following me on Instagram, you will know I am working from Hawaii for the next few months and Dianna Kinnunen is taking care of all orders back at the Kingfisher Studio this winter. I have taken several quilting projects along and have my open air sewing space all set up. I am well on my way on the Violet Craft Cheetah Abstractions quilt as in the pattern below.

I have taken along a bundle of Kaleidoscope - a collection of shot cotton wovens by Alison Glass that are new in the Kingfisher Online Shop! You can select a bundle or pick your own yardage. These are the fabrics featured on the front of the patterns.

One more fabric option to check out for these is Inferno by Giucy Giuce (also see his Instagram posts). He made a set of these patterns in Inferno and they are INCREDIBLE! I also sell bundles of this fabric or you could select your own colours by buying yardage.
